State of Art Technology After years of R&D efforts, SOLAS has become a specialist combining the technology of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and expertise of customer feedback in design of propulsion system for marine vehicle. Also in the design and tooling stage, 3-D modeling CAD/CAM technology is also applied to increase the precision and accuracy of the tools and final products. Technology Leader
After decades of effort, SOLAS' innovative design has gained wide recognition and respect. Our Slim hub design with spline insert obtained both US Patent No. 5,451,143 and Taiwan Patent No. 098667. To avoid the turbulence induced by traditional hexagonal head of impeller hub, SOLAS designed its innovative assembly wrench and improved the streamlines through an impeller ( US Patent No. 5,509,785 and Taiwan Patent No. 096582 ).
